Who's Hungry is a decision-making application designed to assist users in locating top-rated restaurants in their vicinity using Yelp, providing a solution for group dining or solo culinary adventures.

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where choosing a restaurant becomes a challenge among friends and family? Are you exploring a new destination and seeking culinary recommendations? Or perhaps you simply wish to indulge in a new dining experience alone? Who's Hungry offers an answer to these scenarios.

How it works:

To initiate the process, users can opt to either create a dining game or join an existing one established by another user.

1. To create a game: as the game creator, select the city for dining, specify a radius for restaurant exploration within that city, and indicate the desired meal type (e.g., breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert). Subsequently, a unique invite code is generated for sharing with potential participants.
2. To join a game: insert the invite code received from the game creator and await other participants to join.

Once all players are present, their names will be shown on a waiting screen as the game initiator launches the dining selection process.

How the swiping works: The application presents 20 highly rated restaurants individually for users to swipe left if uninterested or right if intrigued.

After completing their selections, users wait on the results page until all participants finish swiping. The winning restaurant is determined based on majority votes; if no clear winner emerges, participants are prompted for a revote if necessary.
